Sandra Brooks , Head nurse, joined 1997


Sandra runs the nursing side of the clinic behind the scenes. She is involved in the daily running of the clinic, maintaining the imaging equipment, diabetic consults, as well as animal nursing duties. Her special interest is orthopaedic nursing.
She has got a Siberian Husky called Gus and spends many weekends on long walks with him.

 Tara Hine, Nurse, joined 2002


Tara is involved in all aspects of nursing. She enjoys working with the diabetic patients as well as running behaviour clinics. She has completed a Nurse Certificate in animal behaviour and is happy to do behaviour consultations - please email the practice and ask for a and complete her behaviour questionnaire before booking booking an appointment .


 Bridie Richards, Nurse, joined 2007


Bridie is involved as a clinical coach, as well as doing general nursing duties such as theatre and medical nursing, dispensary and consulting work. .
She has horses and is interested in the equine side of practice, as well as some dogs, cats, pigs, sheep and some poultry! 


Louise Fallows, Nurse

Louise has completed her nursing degree and added another year to her studies and has completed her BSc honours degree in Veterinary Nursing and Practice Management. As part of her degree she is now an SQP which is an animal medicines advisor for small animal, equine and farm animal. Her dissertation subject was equine parasitology and she still has an interest in equine faecal worm counts which she can do in house. Louise covers all aspects of nursing as well as being a clinical coach. She enjoys horse riding and has a horse called Bonnie as well as a dog, Ella.


Julie Cooper, Nurse


Julie joined us last October and covers general nursing duties. She has a special interests in orthopaedic nursing and animal behaviour. Julie has set up some nurse clinics together with Louise. These include puppy and kitten clinics, weight, dental and rabbit checks.

Julie has two dogs, Lola and Indi and enjoys walking them, as well as socialising with her friends. She does some agility training with Indi.


 Rebecca Williamson, Nurse


Rebecca covers all nursing duties on a daily basis, as well as being in charge of our Pet food section, covering the life stage as well as the prescription foods from our main supplier Royal Canin.

Rebecca has got some dogs and enjoys taking them for walks.


 Hannah Johnson, Nurse

Hannah started working with us a receptionist in 2009 and then decided she liked the practical aspects of animal care. She then completed her training as a veterinay nurse. Hannah covers general nursing duties as well as being in charge of small animal stock.

Hannah is a keen equestrian in her spare time.


Kim Hall, Trainee Nurse

Kim has taken over as saturday girl from Louise Sherratt. Kim helps on saturdays and during the week in the dispensary as well as the consulting rooms and also covers reception. She has just started her veterinary nursing course at Bottle Green college, which she has completed the first year of.

Kim has got two dogs and she enoys dog grooming as well as net ball and playing darts.
